“Sin Palabras”: San Pedro Sula Singles and Campus Conference

Mission Diaries Logo small white.jpgThe San Pedro Sula (Honduras) Church recently hosted a conference for Singles and Campus ministries, entitled “Sin palabras” (Without Words). After 40 days of prayer, fasting and evangelism, the conference participants were treated to a powerful sermon by guest speaker Alex Paiz, one of the evangelists from the Guatemala City Church. Both church members and visitors were challenged to capture Jesus’ passion for the multitudes who need salvation, and to appreciate and be grateful for the blessings that we have in Him.

“The campus ministry opened the conference with a warm welcome”, says conference organizer Wilfredo Coello, “and the singles ministry followed with a theatrical production that highlighted the plight of children who live in the streets of our cities.” The conference concluded with a Sunday service that saw three people baptized in Christ.

Coello, who is one of the ministry leaders for the San Pedro Sula Church, asks for our prayers so that we can see many more singles and college students baptized.
