Church Profiles: Guadalajara

Mission Diaries Logo small white.jpg Guadalajara is Mexico’s second largest city and the main commercial hub for Western Mexico. It is the home of mariachi music, charreadas (Mexican rodeos) and the torta ahogada (a sandwich dipped in blazingly hot sauce).  Planted in 1990 by Jaime and Mimi De Anda, the church now has over 260 members and is led by two couples: Juan and Sofia Moguel, and Francisco and Angelica Botello. Guadalajara has also sent mission plantings to three other cities and helps oversee those churches.
