Using Webcasting to Overcome Challenges

Mission Diaries Logo small white.jpgIt looks like the Mexican Government’s rapid response to the flu epidemic has been effective in controlling the spread of the epidemic. Our brothers and sisters in the Mexico City church, however, were not able to meet for services for two weeks. Although many church members were able to meet in house churches, there were a few who couldn’t travel to the sites of those house church services.  To keep those church members informed and spiritually nourished,  on May 3 the church prepared and broadcast a devotional over the internet. Hosted by evangelist and teacher Arturo Elizarraras, it featured some Christian music videos and a Bible lesson. Hundreds of links were registered, not only in Mexico but even from small groups in the U.S. who wanted to join our Mexican brothers and sisters during a difficult time. Prayers for Mexico City

Mission Diaries Logo small white.jpgAs we have all seen and heard on the news, a flu epidemic has hit the country of Mexico. The government has ordered all public meetings to be cancelled. We don’t have any news of any church members being affected by the flu, however the church in Mexico City has not been able to meet for services. Today they will attempt to broadcast a small online service via internet video.  Their website is www.icmeca.org

Please pray for our brothers and sisters in Mexico…
